Skid Row is a neighborhood in downtown Los Angeles, California. The area is officially known as Central City East. In the 2019 census, the population of the area was 4,757. Skid Row has one of the most stable numbers (about 4,200-8,000) in the United States and has been known for its high number of homeless people since the 1930s.
